Our Firm
K Engineers, Inc. was initially founded in 1979 as Kenneth Kok, P.E. Electrical Engineer. In 2007, two partners were added and the firm was incorporated. Our firm consists of one office in one location with no subsidiaries or associated firms. One of the big advantages of being a small firm is that it allows our organizational structure to be very informal and efficient. It also allows us to communicate freely, both internally and with clients and other design team members, and focus on the work required to complete projects.
Two managing partners include Steve TeVelde, P.E., and Bill Diephuis, P.E.. The partners and staff have considerable experience in a wide variety of electrical systems (high and low voltage power, controls, grounding, lighting, generators, etc.), telecommunications (voice, data, cable television, etc.) and specialty systems (audio/video, clock/bell/intercom, security, access control, video surveillance, etc.) Our experience covers both public and private sectors, including utility, industrial, commercial, educational, recreational, residential and other miscellaneous projects, both new and renovations of existing.
